There are about two thousand exoplanets in our galaxy and the number continues to climb. The International Astronomical Union now has a monumental task; what to name them all? The IAU has wisely decided to outsource the task (just for twenty special worlds so far) and it now falls upon…us. With the NameExoWorlds online contest, each of us can give inputs. Future generations could colonize planets named by us, so the names you have/will use in your sprawling epic space operas could become a reality. Get out there and vote! Now please, no silly names just for lulz.
