Speculative Fact #250: Chameleon Stealth Techniques

The closely guarded secret that allows this little predator to ambush its prey has been uncovered by scientists this March. The ‘trick’ involves the use of a highly reflective chemical chain called guanine.
By shifting their little bodies in certain directions the layers of guanine in the lizards’ skin can reflect light at different wavelengths (and colors) and even regulate their body temperature.
You can believe that certain agencies and departments will soon be looking into this discovery for some kind of futuristic adaptive camouflage. Luckily, as a spec fiction writer, you don’t have to wait until DARPA figures it out.

Your mission is to design a cutting age camouflage suit and perhaps a cool team of infiltrators that know how to put it to use.
