Speculative Fact #244: Mind-Controlled Prosthetic Leg

New advancements in prosthetic limbs have allowed for “mind” controlled robot hands, arms, (and now) legs!

The Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (RIC) has a center that specializes in researching bionic medical technology and receives funding from DARPA (which is very interested in neural interface technology).

            In the near future we may see amputees and wounded veterans getting bionic limbs. In the near future? Cyborgs?
